Hi everyone, Today I am posting the last two shots we'll see from contributor Chris Stewartfor a little while, a couple more Oakway SD60's. Today we also welcome a new contributor to the BN Archive. Jim Gehrett sent a CD containing mostly BNSF, but also a little BN. I posted the BNSF several months ago, but BN contributors have been keeping me very busy, so I'm just now getting to his BN shots. Jim must find cabless units particularly interesting, as seven of his eight shots that I am posting are of either cabless GE B30-7A's or much less common EMD SD40-2B rebuilds. If you want to model a SD40-2B, Jim did very well on SD40-2B #7502 - he got shots from all four corners! Two are overheads, even! This unit was recently repainted into BN's whiteface with separator stripe scheme, but has no "face" to paint white, making it especially unique. For comparison, I also have one shot of the same unit from a couple years earlier when it wore a more typical BN scheme. |
