Message of the day - June 29, 2002:

Hi everyone,

Here are the last five of this batch of photos from Curt Jans. This time, four out of the five photos are units I did not previously have, making today a bit more productive than usual, especially with photos taken in the 90's.

While the new photos are interesting, the one shot I have two of is most peculiar. I almost did not post it, but you ought to get a kick out of comparing the two. I am rather hard pressed to say which is the before and which is the after, so just inspect GP38-2 #2337 (1) and GP38-2 #2337 (2) and take a close look at the angle of the shadow cast by the handrail. Looks like Curt Jans and Mark Lynn were either standing next to each other, or very close to being at the same place at the same time. Looking at the clouds makes me wonder if it wasn't one a minute before the other. It also looks like a good opportunity to compare Kodachrome 25 and Kodachrome 64, assuming my eye is trained enough to guess that Mark's shot is on 25 and Curt's is on 64.

Enjoy,
Charles
