Message of the day - May 30, 2004:

Hi everyone,

Here are another five photos by Moss E. Hulsey, with one last interesting 20 cylinder subject and four GE's, some of which will challenge FP45 #5995 for most interesting or unusual. Only the FP45 went from red and silver to blue and yellow and back to red and silver again and this is the first example I have of one of these in blue and yellow. Amazing since they spent many years in this paint and I am sure they were quite poplular subjects among photographers over the years.

Also interesting is the first B39-8 photo of B39-8E #7402. I am more familiar with the LMX B39-8E's, but while the name sounds quite similar, the three Santa Fe's smack of pre-production test beds, and jugding by the cab and radiator area, these are indeed pre-production dash-8's.

But most interesting must be one-of-a-kind SF30B #7200, fresh out of the Cleburne shops no less! Looks almost too clean to be the real thing.

Enjoy!
Charles
