May 2016 got away from me. I could have continued the GE's in California parade, but I had high hopes for the 11th Annual 24 Hours at Saginaw event that was a great success last year. This year was a bust when it came to trains, but I made up for it in other ways by actually presenting at the event. It was still as good as ever when it came to the social experience. But that was May 2016, and this is June 2016. Today was an almost but not quite "code blue" day since I did have to chase around one cloud to get the first shot in Fort Worth, but once I got to Saginaw, as luck would have it, 4 of the next 5 trains went the right direction and I just barely made quota. Nothing is particularly notable, though it just so happens that I could call today's effort a GE's in Texas parade. I'm just glad to make quota on my first attempt this month! |
