Message of the day - October 30, 2005:

Hi everyone,

I have another Sanda Fe update from New Zealand, this time from Auckland's "Copthorne" Hotel. I have a wonderful view from the 9th floor as I type this, and I'll have to admit I have been somewhat distracted by a container ship loading facility that is in plain view. I've never had such a good vantage point from which to observe a container ship being unloaded before!

I am back to the red and yellow SPSF painted Santa Fe locomotive photos by Mike Bledsoe, with a "dash-7 fest" C30-7's and a lone B36-7's. I may as well take the opportunity to point out that I have a couple before and after's in the bunch, check out B36-7 7486 in both SPSF "Kodachrome" and ATSF "yellowbonnet" paint shemes as well as C30-7 #8139 still sporting SPSF paint as BNSF 5182!

Enjoy!
Charles
