Message of the day - Febuary 28, 2002:Hi everyone,Here are five five EMD SD's, including three of the numeous but elusive Santa Fe SD40-2's and two rare cabless B units. I do not think that at the time I shot SD45B #5502 I realized that it was a one of a kind unit at the time, but I sure am glad I did not let the fact that it is coupled at both ends stop me from shooting it. I must have had B unit on the brain, since a week before I managed to catch SD45-2B #5512 in Temple, TX. While not a one of a kind, this was also a pretty rare model, and I am pretty sure these are the only shots I have of each model while still wearing Santa Fe numbers. I have since caught one BNSF SD45-2B at Coram, MT in July 2000. Enjoy! Charles |
