Message of the day - April 30, 2005:

Hi everyone,

I missed March due to some BNSF excitement, and must admit that it was tempting to do something similar today since I caught my second BNSF ES44DC, but did not make a special 400 mile day trip for one train today, so it can wait.

Today I again have five more photos from contributor Moss E. Hulsey, including another first, this time a SSB1200. Since I am not exactly an avid Santa Fe historian, this is the first time I've really taken a good look at this model. I always did think it was odd that the Santa Fe got rid of their switch engines back in the early 80's while many other railroads still have many in service.

Also, I have four more CF7's to add to the five I previously posted. I only have one file left on this CD of 36 images, so I'm not sure what will be up next. Maybe some power in red and yellow "SPSF" paint.

Enjoy!
Charles
